Dear puli enthusiast, interested parties, and future puli parents!
Welcome to the new website of our CSERI-SUBÁS KENNEL 🐾 !
I am Dr. Susanna Hetey, the current owner of the Cseri-Subás Kennel, and it is with great pleasure that I introduce you to our Puli family, the pride of our triple-crowned master breeding program. The Cseri-Subás Kennel has been operating with full commitment for 35 years, and this decades-long dedication is reflected in the appearance, achievements, and quality of our current Pulis and their puppies. The history of Cseri-Subás Kennel began in 1990 when István Menyhárt and his wife focused on breeding Hungarian dog breeds, with special attention to the Puli. It was during a chance conversation at an exhibition that they acquired their first white Puli, which marked the beginning of the kennel's success story.
The first mating was with a young male Puli named Sivatagi Nótás, followed by his successor, "Hajdú." Hajdú achieved remarkable results at numerous shows thanks to his outstanding appearance and pigmentation, and he also produced several successful offspring. In 1993, the kennel acquired a white female named Gyöpszeri Pici, who, when paired with Hajdú, produced outstanding Pulis, including Bence and Borcsa. One of their most successful males, Cseri-Subás Darázs, was born in 2001, and he further enhanced the kennel's reputation with his numerous offspring.
Over the years, Cseri-Subás Kennel has garnered many accolades, including three World Winner titles, several International Champion (ICH), Hungarian Champion (HCH), and Hungaria Grand Champion titles.
Our kennel is proud that both our white and black Pulis carry the distinctive traits of the Cseri-Subás Pulis, and they continue to perform successfully at both national and international dog shows.
Our primary goal is to continually improve the quality of our Puli stock, with particular attention to coat quality, proportionality, and excellent conformation.
At Cseri-Subás Kennel, we undertake only one or two litters per year, as our main focus is on ensuring quality rather than increasing quantity.
For us, the most important thing is that each puppy inherits the best possible genetic background, health, and traits representative of the breed. This careful and deliberate breeding approach ensures that our Pulis are of the highest quality, meeting the breed's highest standards in both appearance and temperament. Striving for quality also means that each litter receives our full attention, ensuring that the puppies are well cared for and given the best chances for future success, whether in shows or in family life.
Each of our Puli puppies carries the Hungarikum emblem, placed on their pedigrees, which guarantees their genetic purity and traceable lineage over many generations.
The Puli is not just a dog breed but a valuable part of Hungarian 🇭🇺 cultural heritage, which we proudly preserve and pass on to future generations.
It is a great honor for me to have taken over the kennel and to continue the work of the Menyhárt family.
Thank you for joining us on this journey, and if you have any questions, we are happy to assist you!
